Joaquin Foster

writer/director/producer

Joaquin Foster was born in San Francisco and raised back and forth between Marin county. His passion for writing started from before he could spell, with his first stories being dictated to begrudging family members. Once he learned to spell, albeit poorly, he spent the bulk of his free time writing short stories and fantasy novels. This passion for storytelling shifted gears during his sophomore year of high school when he was taken under the wing of an AFI-trained screenwriter. Upon turning eighteen, he got the words "Film First" tattooed on his wrist to emphasize his dedication to the art form.

Since then, Joaquin has attended film school, began acting, written six feature film scripts, selling his first (The Taste Of Victory) at the age of nineteen to the New York based Reverie Flux Productions, as well as directing and producing a number of short films which have played an array of festivals including Austin and Beverley Hills. Now, at age twenty, his feature directorial debut is in development and financing with Pretty Things Production.
